What get’s you inspired?
Design is everywhere. When I look at a screen from my phone to television, each pixel is a component of the user’s experience.
My goal is to create a space where design is detrimental to the way people think and value their environment everyday. I hope to create sustainable designs that transcends screens to a way of transformed new living.
It is about going the extra mile to walk in my clients shoes, feel their surroundings, understand their frustrations just to get that extra smile.
Product Design Skills
Design Thinking
My main design principle is Design Thinking. It follows an Agile methodology design life cycle that focuses on: empathizing with the user’s needs, defining a solution, ideating ways to approach the solution, prototyping workflows of the design, and testing the product.
In each phase I use research strategies like persona creation and customer journey maps. It is also important to create site maps to understand how users interact and navigate through screens.
Flexibility & Scale
As a product designer, I was blessed to have given opportunities to work in diverse types of platforms. I have had the experience working with: Website systems, Desktop applications, Mobile/Tablet applications like iOS & Android, and Television applications (Apple TV & Chromecast integration).
I learned about constraints and applying different UX principles in order to serve users the optimized experience.
Collaboration
In my experience as a product designer, it is important to have open communication with each member of the team. I have had the privilege to learn and further grow from developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders.
Working with different members of the team taught me basic HTML & CSS when a developer needs elements from the design. I also directly collaborate with stakeholders alongside business analysts to brainstorm new ideas or question the product design.
